Ten top reasons why I pray for my husband every night before bed.




1. I'll be his crown, therefore he needs the grace to recognize it and operate in that capacity. Prov. 12:4

2.  He is my protector - whenever the Israelite men would go off to war to protect their land, Moses had to be in constant communication with God so he knew which men to select for the battle. 

3. My husband is going to fail- We all fall short whether by choice or subconciously. However, it is by prayers he will  learn to overcome each short coming. Romans 3:23

4. He needs direction from the Holy Spirit to find me.. he's lost!! Lolll

5. He's responsible for the way I glow- I heard the late Myles Monroe say in a sermon, "in order to see your flowers grow you have to water your own garden". If you are not treating your wife with care, it will show. Husbands need prayers that the Lord may show them how to care for their wives.

6. So God will shield him from the evil ones. The enemy is always finding new ways to distract us from the real plan for us.

7. To develop growth in Christ and in the things of the Lord.

8. To be alert!- c'mon, men don't use both sides of the brain. Haha

9. The devil is constantly seeking to destroy men- the way how society runs weighs heavily on men because of the way they were designed and wired. Therefore, he needs the covering of the Lord to ensure we have a secured future.

10. Most of all - I love Him!!! To show someone that you love and care for them, pray over them,  do it and mean it!

Why I pray for my husband every night before bed.

Praying is believing,  yes! Let me say it again, praying is believing.       We can all testify that we've earnestly prayed over something at least once or ten thousands of  times in our life and it came through. I know I have.  It isn't because we are "good" it is because we believed and we put our faith in God. No, it isn't anything else.    In my earlier years as a teen,  I didn't value marriage or relationships that much. It wasn't because I was bitter or heart broken,  ( what are those? Lol) I just didn't see the point especially if you are young. So I admired, liked, continue to infactuate, or whatever you wanna add on, guys. Once I realized it was getting serious I would get scared and disappeared. As I grew older and my relationship with Christ grew,  I began holding guy friends closer.
