Why I pray for my husband every night before bed.
Praying is believing, yes! Let me say it again, praying is believing.
We can all testify that we've earnestly prayed over something at least once or ten thousands of times in our life and it came through. I know I have. It isn't because we are "good" it is because we believed and we put our faith in God. No, it isn't anything else.
In my earlier years as a teen, I didn't value marriage or relationships that much. It wasn't because I was bitter or heart broken, ( what are those? Lol) I just didn't see the point especially if you are young. So I admired, liked, continue to infactuate, or whatever you wanna add on, guys. Once I realized it was getting serious I would get scared and disappeared. As I grew older and my relationship with Christ grew, I began holding guy friends closer. I cared for them more and I showed interest in them as a people as well as their anotomy. This rapidly grew into real romantic love for at least two lol. Just two.
As a seasoned adult, matured Christian that I would like to be, I believe the prayers over my future husband is vital. If I'm going to marry a man, he should most certainly know that whatever dungeon he's in, he will get out of because he got a praying wife. A wife who invests her time praying for her maynnn. No, I'm not the type of wife who would "go" for people who come for my husband cause he can defend himself, but I'll be sure to "go for them" in prayer. Prayer has changed my life gloriously and if I intend to win in my future marriage I believe it starts with praying for him even before I meet him. The devil has a crafty way of spewing it's venom over future marriages. Whether it's through words from toxic family members or people we don't even know. So this is the opportune time to cancel and bind them in the name of Jesus, so by the time your husband gets to you y'all are ready for war!
In a later post I'll share "ten top reasons why I pray for my future husband every night before bed."
Hi Eddelia. This is a great call for all Christian ladies to do. Thank you for your encouragement. I think that the devil is out to destroy men before they even get into to their marriages so that they can be battered and confused as they enter into their marriages. We do fight our battles in prayer. I agree. Pray for our future husbands. I do this as well.
