Happy New Year🥂

Image
Isaiah 43:18-19 NIV  “Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past. See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland. Happy New year my lovely people. Commit all your ways to God. Don't just keep asking God to bless you and you do your own thing and dishonour him. Put down your idols as a burnt sacrifice and present your bodies a living sacrifice in 2026 and forever  it's never too late to start over! Blessings galore.❤🥳

What Hannah taught me about prayer ( 1 Samuel 1)

Image
When I think about the story of Hannah in the Bible, it hits me on a deep level. Here was a woman who knew what it felt like to want something so badly and yet have to wait on God's timing. She wanted a child, and year after year,  she endured pain,  disappointment,  and even ridicule. And still Hannah didn't give up. She prayed.   Hannah taught me that prayer isn't always about preety words or perfect posture. Sometimes, prayer is tears streaming down your face with no words coming out,  but your heart ♥ speaking louder than your lips ever could, I've been there. God invites us to pray any and every where  that's why he said come bodly before the throne of God ( Hebrews 4:16 ). Throne does not mean a literal kingly throne but anywhere you are can be his throne. I take the opportunity to pray anywhere. I pray on my knees, in the shower when I'm bathing, in the car, in my work bathroom, even before I make a phone call depending on what the conversation is li...

The power in a praying wife

Image
Marriage is more than two people sharing a name, or a future. It is a covenant before God. And in that covenant, prayer becomes one of the most powerful tools a wife can carry. A praying wife is not just a partner to her husband, but an intercessor, a covering and a vessel of God's love and strength.  When a wife prays, she invites God into the very center of her marriage. She acknowledges that no matter how much love she gives, it is God who holds the power to sustain, heal and strengthen the bond. Her prayers can shift atmosphere, break chains and usher peace into her home.  Why prayer matters in marriage? Prayer isn't about controlling your husband or fixing him. - It's about covering him. A wife's prayer guard him from attacks he may never see, soften his heart in ways words cannot,  and remind him that he is not walking this life alone. The power of prayer is that it reaches where hands cannot and heals what words cannot.  What a praying wife does? Cover...

💝 It's been a minute I haven't spent some good time on here. Don't worry I've been up to good! lol I've been spending some good quality time with God and trying to manage my time. Valentine has just passed, and I used my break from work today to reflect on the matter of love and while doing that, some questions came up in my head. This is a safe space and yes, we can talk like family so loosen up as you read. You know I'm big on love and once God presents me with the right people I don't half love, I love whole heartedly with commitment, trust and respect. Over the years growing up, love wasn't necessarily displayed to me thoroughly, so I didn't know how to receive it or give it properly. It wasn't until I was about 12 years old when I received Christ as my Lord and personal Saviour, and I began studying the word, that God began to change my heart on loving people and loving myself. In 1 Cor. 13:13 I believe God said love was the greatest, becau...
